DTG or Direct to Garment printing is a great process for full color (photorealistic) printing in small quantities.  The print process is similar to a desktop ink jet printer.  The machines used to produce Direct to Garment prints are industrial grade machines with special inks.  The finished product is very similar to traditional screen printing.  Spot color print jobs are a better fit for screen printing to achieve a closer match to pantone colors.
